If I owned a shop, I would totally use those things.

I'd rather just swap in a 2.3 diesel that they came with in the '80's.

I heard the 2.3 diesels were awful though. I would rather swap in like a Kubota diesel or somthing that isn't a turd

I'd at least like to have more torque than the base engine, so I'd go for a 4BT.

Fair enough at least the 4BT is a solid motor. That's been around forever. I have a friend who just finished a 4BT swap on his XJ Jeep
